Photography is not a static industry; new techniques and technologies always appear, for this reason Tanya is always striving to perfect her photography. Besides being a certified professional photographer, Tanya is working on earning her masters photographer degree.
A masters photography degree is a merit program that recognizes photographer’s achievements in the profession. It is run on a point systems, with merits standing as points that member photographers earn for various accomplishments. Merits are earned towards the degrees. After 25 merits, the photographer is eligible for a degree, depending on the types of merits earned (whether they speak, further their education or enter print competitions and score 80 or higher)
After several years entering the Intermountain Professional Photographers Association Tanya received 2nd place in the Children’s Portrait Category with the portrait below.
The below image also scored merit points to put towards her master photographer degree.
